We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Gregory Garth Thomas will be joining the AAIMS family in the capacity of Associate Dean, ClinicalAffairs and Quality.

Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the University of West Indies. He worked in various capacities over the last 40 years in Scotland and the Caribbean region. Notable positions include an illustrious surgical career in Montego Bay spanning over 35 years. During that long period of service in the Government, Dr. Thomas established unparalleled standards for patient care, commitment to medical education, and the highest ethical standards. He held various senior leadership positions, which include Senior Medical Officer position at the
Cornwall Regional Hospital, Quality Assurance Consultant, and Acting Technical Director position at the Western Regional Health Authority. He is also a leader in the community. He served on the boards of various educational institutions on a voluntary basis. Dr. Thomas believes in personal attention and an individual approach to each student to fulfill their goals. He is the right coach for AAIMS with a diverse student body. During his leisure, he enjoys playing golf, scrabble, and music.

With an incredible amount of experience in various facets of medicine, we are very confident that Dr. Thomas will enrich the faculty at the AAIMS and our students will have a phenomenal mentor.
