Leela Kumar Kaza is the Founder & Vice Chairman of Bounteous Inc., a $400M niche digital product engineering services company headquartered out of Dallas, Texas with operations in London, Montreal and five digital labs across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi. Bounteous currently employs about 5000 people worldwide and is growing at 40% Year over Year. The Company focuses on solving complex technology problems for Fortune 500 customers such as Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Verizon, FedEx, T-Mobile, British Telecom etc. and has established a strong reputation for its cloud, data and Product Engineering capabilities. Bounteous is a highly profitable organization with Zero debt and a very strong balance sheet and with a growth aspiration of reaching $700M revenue over the next 2-3 years.
Previously, Leela was also one of the six Group CEOs at ESW Capital / Trilogy, a $10B Private Equity Group based out of Austin, Texas that has acquired about 120 technology product companies in the past 15 years. Leela was associated with the firm over a 20 year tenure and was instrumental in its growth from $50M to $1B revenue. Leela managed about $100M revenue across 6 companies within the ESW portfolio. During his stint at ESW Capital, Leela held several roles as Managing Director of Optiva, a publicly listed Toronto based Telecom billing and charging platform, Global Head of Professional Services, General Manager of Trilogy Financial Services Group etc.
Leela was born in Vijayawada and is married to Purnima Kaza, a US trained Primary Care Physician, for the past 25 years and is blessed with two children – Sindhura Kaza and Sathvik Kaza. Sindhura completed her Law degree at NALSAR, Hyderabad. Sathvik completed his Bachelors in Engineering at University of North Carolina, Chapelhill and is pursuing MBA at Yale, CT. He is an avid basket ball player and represented the State of Telangana basket ball team. The family has relocated from Dallas, Texas to Hyderabad in 2013.
In his leisure time, Leela enjoys playing poker, running, travel, watching movies with family and coaching young entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams. Leela is also a seasoned investor and has a real estate and financing portfolio.
